Built to Last, Cared for by You
Every Maaki Bar is designed to stand strong through years of play, laughter, and adventure.
With a little care and attention, your bar will stay safe, sturdy, and beautiful, a lasting part of your whānau’s outdoor life.
Regular Checks
To keep your Maaki Bar performing at its best, we recommend a quick check every few months:
Tighten all bolts and fittings especially after periods of heavy play or strong winds.
Inspect joints and welds for any signs of wear or movement.
Check the ground surface to ensure your bar remains level and stable.
These small steps go a long way in keeping playtime safe and carefree.
Cleaning Your Maaki Bar
Our bars are powder-coated with a durable Dark Green finish — inspired by the native bush and built to handle Aotearoa’s changing weather.
To keep them looking their best:
Rinse occasionally with fresh water to remove dirt or salt.
Use a soft cloth or sponge, avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
If you live near the coast, give your bar a quick wash more often to prevent salt buildup.
Weather & Seasonal Care
Maaki Bars are designed for outdoor use in all weather, but take care during.
Wet or frosty days: bars may become slippery.
Strong winds: avoid swinging accessories until calm.
