At Maaki Bars, we want every whānau to love their new play space as much as we loved creating it.
If something’s not quite right, we’ll do everything we can to make it right with honesty, fairness, and care.

Change of Mind

Because each Maaki Bar is made to order and large to ship, we’re unable to offer refunds for change of mind once your order has been processed.

If you realise you’ve made an error in your order, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase at kiaora@maakibars.co.nz we’ll do our best to adjust it before dispatch.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take great care in packaging and delivering your Maaki Bar. If your order arrives damaged, missing parts, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve it quickly:

Email us at kiaora@maakibars.co.nz with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

Our team will assess and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation.

We’ll keep you updated every step of the way, we want your whānau back to play as soon as possible!

Faulty Products

If a fault occurs under normal use within the 12-month warranty period, it will be covered under our Warranty & Repairs policy.
We’ll assess whether repair, replacement, or refund is the best outcome for you and te taiao.

Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed via your original payment method within 5–10 working days once we’ve received and inspected the returned item.


We’ll email you to confirm when your refund has been completed.

Sustainability Promise

We do our best to reduce unnecessary waste , which means wherever possible, we repair or replace individual parts instead of entire units.
