Ko Casey rāua ko Rob tōku ingoa.
We are proud to whakapapa to Ngāi Tahu and Ngāti Kahungunu, and whānau is at the heart of everything we do.
Maaki Bars was born in our own backyard. We wanted something strong for our girls. Something that would last. Something that would grow with them. Something to bring back the kind of play we grew up with, the climbing, swinging, stretching, and laughing kind.
The kind that happens outside, surrounded by fresh air, muddy feet, and imagination. In a world filled with screens and fast-paced living, we saw a need to bring play back to its roots: Simple. Natural. Joyful.
We wanted to create play equipment that could grow with your whānau, withstand Aotearoa’s seasons, and inspire connection to te taiao, the natural world around us.
From Our Whānau to Yours
We build Maaki Bars to last, strong, sustainable, and full of heart.
Whether it’s Heke, Kake, Piki, or Rere, every model is made to inspire movement, laughter, and moments that connect whānau to each other and to the land.
Because to us, that’s what play should be:
Simple. Natural. Meaningful.
Our Promise
A return to outdoor play, to connection, and to caring for the land that raises us. Each bar is crafted with integrity, care, and a commitment to sustainability, built to last through years of laughter and growth.
From your first setup to the hundreds of memories that follow, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Because Maaki isn’t just a name, it’s a way of growing strong, together.
